Greg Levinson is the Chairman of Genlith Inc. He previously served as the CEO of Schooner Investment Group, a manager of hedged SEC registered funds. Prior to Schooner, he spent 15 years within the multi-strategy hedge fund and proprietary trading community. He was a Founder of Polaris Advisors, an asset manager specializing in convertible arbitrage, equity, and derivative strategies. Prior to his hedge fund work, Greg was a Managing Director at BNP/Paribas, leading groups in both proprietary trading and client managed assets. He joined BNP after graduating from The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania in 1995, with a B.S. in Economics and a concentration in Finance.
John Mitchell is the President of Genlith Inc. He previously served as President of Lithium for Albemarle Corporation and has global experience in energy materials, water infrastructure, industrial gases and energy. John guided Albemarle’s lithium division to a global market leading position. Prior to Albemarle, John served as Rockwood Ltihium’s North American President, Environmental Management Corporation’s President, and Senior Advisor to Linde’s business in Africa and South America. John holds a B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from Drexel University.
Chief Investment Officer
Tony is the Chief Investment Officer of Genlith Inc. He has over 20 years of experience in the bank prop trading, hedge fund, and alternative investment community. A graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Tony has worked with Greg Levinson for nearly 20 years at BNP/Cooper Neff, Polaris Advisors and the Schooner Investment Group serving roles as Portfolio Manager and Head of Trading. He provides a vast body of experience executing and managing financial securities, especially derivatives and complex instruments.
Operating Partner (Chile)
Mr. Moreno has over 20 years experience working in the public & private sectors of the mining industry. He is considered a respected mining specialist, with an extensive network in the Latin-American region. Between 2014 and 2016, he was appointed Undersecretary of Mining for the Chilean government, where he led the definition of public policies in the lithium sector and other products related to renewables. Previous to that he was the head of the Development division of ENAMI (Empresa Nacional de Minería), a Chilean state run mining company. Mr. Moreno also served several years as General Manager of Minera Cerro Dominador, a private mining company producing copper in the north of Chile. In addition Mr. Moreno worked in banking in the Representative Office of Banque Nationale de Paris in Chile. Mr. Moreno holds a Maitrise de Gestion (Master I in the European Standard) from the University of Montpellier (France) and a Graduate Diploma in Management Sciences from the University of Bradford (UK).

Jaimie Solari is widely recognized both in Chile and internationally as a mining expert, thought leader on environmental issues and strategic resource development. For the past 25 years, Jaime has served as the Founder and General Manager of Gestion Ambiental S.A., the largest environmental advisory firm in Chile. His previous work experience includes Environmental Manager for Gasoducto Transandino, Environmental Chief for Ministerio de Mineria of Chile, and adjunct professor at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). Jaime holds a Ph.D. in Mineral Technology from Imperial College, University of London and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Mining Engineering and Extractive Metallurgy.
Relationship Mgmt. & Business Development
A financial services veteran, Mr. Herz has 20+ years experience in the investment space. His most recent role was Principal at Fortuna Capital Advisors. Prior to that, he was the Director of Marketing for Radnor Research & Trading Company, an agency-only broker-dealer and NYSE member. He started his career at Credit Suisse First Boston, as a Financial Analyst. Mr. Herz is also a graduate of The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Director of Investment Research
Morgan is an Investment Research Associate at Genlith Inc. His responsibilities include performing analysis on investment opportunities as well as due diligence on proposed transactions. Morgan is a CFA and a member of the CFA Institute, serving on the Board of Directors of the CFA Society of Philadelphia. Previously Morgan founded Rittenhouse Research Associates, a qualitative and quantitative investment research firm. Prior to forming Rittenhouse Research Associates, Morgan was a Portfolio Manager for Schooner Investment Group. He began his career at BNP/Cooper Neff where he was a Vice President and Senior Trader managing convertible arbitrage and credit strategy portfolios. Morgan holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
Chief Operating Officer
Mr. McCann is the Chief Operating Officer and Corp. Secretary of Genlith Inc. He graduated with a B.S. in Finance from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He is responsible for all operational aspects of the business including implementing and administering the firm’s compliance policies and procedures. Prior positions include Chief Operating Officer of Schooner Investment Group, Director of Operations for cbAlley, Inc (a financial software development company), Operations Manager at multi-strat hedge fund Polaris Advisors LP, and a hedge fund accountant at SEI Investments.
PAUL WEIBEL, CPA
Director of Operations
Mr. Weibel works in operations and is responsible for financial administration and accounting related functions. Prior to working at Genlith Partners and Schooner Investment Group Paul was a Senior Associate for PricewaterhouseCoopers in the asset management assurance practice. He is a graduate of Lehigh University where he majored in Finance and Accounting. Additionally, Paul was captain of the Lehigh University men’s wrestling team and is a two-time NCAA Division I Qualifier. Mr. Weibel is a CPA and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
